Most of the animations shown here were created at the Institute for Technology and Education at the University of Münster by Sebastian Rikowski under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Christian Hein. In the following years, the animations were slightly expanded and adapted to new technical requirements.
The HD animations contain several levels of representation that gradually transition from concrete examples to abstraction. This principle was first demonstrated in the work of Dr. Tamara Riehle and further developed here.
The animations in the web animations section are hobby works created at a later date.
A code editor based on the open-source framework PixiJS allows learners to create their own animations.
